Cartocuts is an online map design tool made by makers for makers.
Its focus is on creating high resolution, high contrast, customizable maps that are optimized to be used for laser engraving.
It also enables you to add custom labels and markers to your map as well as show and hide various map features to dial in how you want your map to look.
It started out as a way to create map designs for a successful range of custom laser engraved cutting boards created by The Cut & Etch and has since grown into a tool to help makers and craft businesses put topographic and city maps on all kinds of things.
