Are all map styles monochrome and high contrast?

To start with yes. 

Our focus is on creating maps that are easy for other makers, artists and crafters to use in their work.

In order to work well with laser engravers we have made sure that our map styles only contain shades of grey and that any areas of shading are converted to halftones to that they will engrave well.
